Although the style of Guillaume Connesson’s Double Quatuor (Double Quartet), composed in 1994, clearly draws on minimal music, it also reveals the composer’s fascination with the instrumental music of the great Italian masters, Antonio Vivaldi and Arcangelo Corelli.
