The Intoxication of Sound. The Georgian pianist Irakly Avaliani won the highest awards at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. He then returned to Tbilisi to study with Ethery Djakeli, learning the teaching of Marie Jaëll, and completely rebuilt his piano technique, as Albert Schweitzer, Dinu Lipatti and Eduardo Del Pueyo had done before him.
