Suzana Bartal, piano: Dohnányi, Bartók, Liszt

RURALIA HUNGARICA Hungarian folk music in all its expressiveness and virtuosity. For the programme of this concert, recorded for my most recent album, I have chosen works that echo my Hungarian roots. The so-called "Hungarian" music, in fact Romani music, found in Liszt's Rhapsodies, and the authentic folklore rediscovered by Bartók, are both highly representative of the musical fabric of Hungary.
