Piano Recital: Michael Korstick

"Beethoven is and remains my musical guiding star," says Michael Korstick. His recording of all 32 sonatas has caused a sensation in the music world. Uncompromising and passionate, he fulfils his aspiration to a truthful interpretation brought to life, which he describes thus: "The pianist must recognise what comes from the heart of the composer before he invests his own heart's blood in it."
