Le Carnaval Baroque
This Baroque Carnival unfolds in full splendour in the world of pomp and grotesque of an Italian carnival in the mid-seventeenth century. The poetic meeting of acrobats, jugglers, mimes, singers and musicians offers an unclassifiable spectacle, drawing as much on popular music and Baroque song as on commedia dell'arte.
