Chostakovitch 10
About this performance
Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante, elegant and carried by a delightful blend of woodwind tones, offers the serenity needed to face Shostakovich’s sprawling musical narrative laden with drama and sarcasm, a hidden reckoning with Stalinism.
