Quatuor Ébène, Pierre Colombet, Gabriel Le Magadure, Marie Chilemme, Yuya Okamoto

To mark the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s death, the Quatuor Ébène continues its Beethoven cycle, presenting a programme that spans the full breadth of Beethoven’s artistic development. In the early String Quartets, Op. 18, Beethoven still draws inspiration from his teacher Joseph Haydn, yet already reveals an unmistakable voice.
