Great Pianists: Grigory Sokolov

He is a regular guest at the Concertgebouw: pianist Grigory Sokolov, acclaimed for the enchanting timbres he draws from the grand piano and for his spiritual tranquillity. He rarely gives interviews and makes almost no recordings, yet the concert halls are always packed. The pianist is keeping the programme he is set to perform under wraps for the time being.
