Garth Fagan Dance

The Rochester-based Garth Fagan Dance comes back to The Joyce Theater for its 55th season with its signature fusion of modern, post-modern, Afro-Caribbean, and ballet influences. Honoring Distinguished Artistic Director Emeritus Garth Fagan—recipient of the 2025 Bessie Award for Lifetime Achievement and the Tony Award-winning choreographer behind Disney’s The Lion King—the company presents an electrifying evening of rhythm, rigor, and soul.
